About Senator Ron

The parents of two children, Ron and Julia Latz are longtime area residents. A private small business owner and attorney, Ron was raised in Golden Valley, attended our local schools, graduated form Hopkins High Schools before receiving his degree from Harvard Law School.

Ron’s work experience gives him knowledge to do a great job in the state Senate:

Served as a Minnesota Assistant Attorney General
Works as a criminal prosecutor
Serving as State Representative, Minnesota House District 44B, 2002-present.
Member, House Committees: Education Policy and Reform; Higher Education Finance; Capital Investments

He is a dedicated public servant, volunteering his time to the following groups
