Who Can Vote

You can vote if you are: 18 or older and a US citizen and a Minnesota resident for at least 20 days before the election.

Before you can vote, you need to be on the official list of voters. This is called being "registered." You must register if you are newly eligible to vote, moved, changed your name or haven't voted in the last four years. If you're registered and move within your precinct, you can simply do an address change at the polling place.
